Our History

Our team is dedicated to providing individualized care and support to each child and family we serve. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, and we are committed to helping them achieve their full potential.

Families and Communities Embracing Successes (“FACES”) is the Southwestern Indiana Regional System of Care (SOC) which serves children and families in Vanderburgh, Gibson, Posey and Warrick Counties. Our regional System of Care originated in 2011 via a time limited implementation grant from the Indiana Department of Mental Health Administration.

Our local SOC has identified a need to create meaningful systems reforms which align with SOC principles, remove barriers for youth and families, and produce lifelong improvements in their wellbeing.

Specifically, reforms include remediating organizational process barriers, decreasing service gaps, improving service accessibility, and expanding evidenced based practices especially in our rural counties which are underserved. “FACES” is our local System of Care council which includes family members and representatives from various child serving agencies in the community.

We work together to facilitate services to children and their families who are struggling with emotional and behavioral disturbances. The goal of these collaborative services is to decrease the challenges and stress the families are experiencing and improve their lives as well as our community as a whole.
